“Tsukimi” – Japanese Kanji Symbols for Moon Viewing

tsukimiI wrote “Tsukimi”. It means “Moon Viewing” in English.

  1. “Tsuki” means the Moon
  2. “Mi” means See, Look or View

Tsukimi means enjoy watching the moon (mainly the full moon).

Night of August 15 and 16 according to the old calendar called Juugoya. and September 13 and 14 according to the old calendar called Juusanya.

Being Tsukimi from the Jomon period in Japan.
